The Hockey Loft offers a wide variety of leagues for all players. Our programs include beginners to more advanced players, youth, men’s and women’s hockey leagues.

Our newest league is House League Minor Hockey for Pre–Tyke and Tyke (6–7 years), Novice (8 years) and Atom – Peewee (9–11 years). Registration is available now and spaces will be limited.

Our Minor Hockey League offers a 25 week fall ⁄ winter season of full-ice hockey games and off–ice practices on synthetic ice at The Hockey Loft.

The Canada Cup 4 on 4 Spring Series

Play for different countries around the World and go for Gold!

Come join us for The Hockey Loft’s annual Canada Cup 4 on 4 Spring Series. If you are looking for some good wide open hockey to keep your skills fine–tuned, then look no further than The Hockey Loft. We are accepting individual registrations. Teams will be assigned based on skill level to ensure the teams are as fair and competitive as possible to make this the most enjoyable 4 on 4 spring season yet.

Please Note: We will evaluate the first 2 – 3 weeks to see if any changes need to be made to the teams. Roster changes are at the Hockey Loft’s discretion and are final.

  • 13 week season including playoffs
  • Weekly games from Sunday April 23 through Wednesday August 2, 2017
  • Rotating game times for most divisions as listed below
  • All games are 1 hour (less resurfacing)
  • All games at Cambridge Ice Centre
  • No games the weeks of:
    • May 21 – 24, 2017
    • July 2 – 5, 2017
  • Pre-Tyke through Midget
  • Jerseys included
  • No body checking allowed – all levels
  • $260.00 plus tax per player

Age is based on starting date. In other words, register based on your child's age by April 1, 2017, not just year of birth.

We serve families in Cambridge, Galt, Hespeler, Kitchener, Waterloo, Ayr and all surrounding areas in Grand River Region. We do not have special rules for a family's residence. We just play hockey!

A Full 50 HOURS of Games and Practice

24 or more training sessions at The Hockey Loft using our synthetic ice surface practicing:
Playing Your Position – Much easier to learn on our synthetic ice
Game Strategies – Less cost and better communication in our facility than on the ice
Passing the Puck – Increases game speed
Shooting – Using our target equipment and tracking results
Puck Handling – Again using our equipment and tracking results
Skating Skills – Better pushing, more speed and measuring results

EVERY PLAYER is treated equally and receives an equal share of shifts in the game and practices.
Full line rotation, no “shortening the bench” to allow the better players more ice time while other’s skate less.

The Hockey Loft is working in conjunction with the Ontario Rep Hockey League to develop several travel teams in the Novice, Atom, Peewee, Bantam and Midget "A" divisions (as available).

Tri-City Titans Tryouts 2017-18 Season

Following is the tryout schedule for our upcoming season. We are looking forward to having a great season.

Pre-registration online is preferred but we may be able to accept some same-day walk ons.

Some special points about ORHL (Ontario Rep Hockey League) rules:

  • Girls are allowed to play one year younger until Bantam
  • One of the first leagues to adopt "Late in Year Birth". Players are allowed to play either current year or one year younger if born in last quarter (Oct, Nov, Dec).
  • Players are always allowed to move up one year

Tryouts will utilize two (2) arenas please make sure you note which day is at which arena!

All teams will be selected from tryouts. In other words there are no players that are pre-selected. Bench coaching staff will be selected after the team is selected. Development and skills training will be with Hockey Loft staff.

Women’s Adult Spring Summer 2017 League

Season: 15 Weeks (including playoffs)
Day & Times: Thursdays 8:30, 9:30 PM rotating hours
Dates: Thursday April 27 – Thursday August 3, 2017
Days Off: none
Price: $2560.00 plus tax
Winning Team: $150.00 cash prize

Price is the same as fall winter season, prorated for less weeks.

Play Off Schedule

Playoffs will be 5 weeks long beginning March 3, 2016 (games are played during March Break).

Playoffs will be a round–robin within 2 pools (3 weeks). Then semi–finals will be the winners from each pool with finals being the winners of the semi–finals.

Pool A will consist of the teams finishing in first, third, fifth and seventh at the end of the regular season.

Pool B will consist of the teams finishing in second, fourth, sixth and eighth at the end of the regular season.

Actual teams will be updated immediately following each week’s results.
